Meet Jim Jones & Freekey Zekey


Joseph Guillermo Jones II, better known by his stage name Jim Jones, is an original member of The Diplomats, also known as Dipset. He is Co-CEO of Diplomat Records and is director of A&R for Warner Music Group.[1][2] He has recently set up his own record label called Byrd Gang Records, through Asylum Records and will be releasing albums by the late Stack Bundles. Ezekiel Giles (born October 13, 1975) better known by his stage name Freekey Zekey, is an african-american rapper best known as president of Diplomat Records.[1] Zekey was shot on April 25 2003.[2] He spent almost three years in jail at Durham Correctional Center in Durham, NC on drugs charges before being released on November 20, 2006.[3][4] He signed a multi-million one-album deal with Asylum Records in December 2006[5] and released his debut solo album, titled Book of Ezekiel on July 24 2007. On April 15, 2008, Freekey Zekey was involved in a three car accident in East Harlem. Despite being thrown from his vehicle, the rapper suffered only minor injuries.In early 2008, Freekey joined his fellow Diplomat Jim Jones' new group Byrd Gang.
